Beach Trip April 2014

This week, David had a conference at the beach.  Amelia and I decided to tag along.  The beach is one of Amelia's favorite places, and she was EXTREMELY excited to get to go.  We were able to spend some time in the pool Saturday when we arrived.  Amelia had her swimsuit on and was ready to go within 10 minutes of us getting into the room!  Please forgive all of the pictures of Amelia's back and side.  She does NOT like to have her picture taken, so I have to take a million shots to get good ones of her.

Sunday morning was spent on the beach, and after a nap, the afternoon was spent in the pool.

Monday morning we were able to spend some time on the beach before traveling to meet my friend, Becky, who lives in Fairhope.  Amelia really liked playing in the WHITE bubbles and ran away from the BROWN bubbles.  I'm not sure what that's all about, but she stuck to the area of the beach with the white bubbles.

Unfortunately, bad weather moved in late Monday afternoon, and we weren't able to spend any time on the beach Tuesday.  It was extremely windy (up to 30 mph gusts) and COLD.  We decided to go outlet shopping instead and take a nice afternoon nap.  We said goodbye to the beach Wednesday morning and came back home.  It was really nice to get away for a few days and go some place fun!
