Australia Day 7 - Wedding Day!

It's Wedding Day! Day 7 was very exciting and the reason we came to Sydney in the first place. The day started early with us leaving our apartment and taking our bags to the hotel where the reception was being held. This is where we would spend the last night in Sydney. After dropping our bags off, Amelia and I went to the salon for hair and make-up. It was her first time to have her hair curled, and she absolutely loved it! We went to the house to get dressed and hopped on the bus that would take us to Fairfield to the wedding. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Amelia did an amazing but serious job as a flower girl. The bride was beautiful and the groom was all smiles. It was a wonderful day! The reception was held at Pier One and overlooked Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. It was a three-course sit down dinner with phenomenal food and drinks. The band played and we danced the night away. Congratulations Brit and Therese! We had a fabulous time and are honored that invited us to be part of your special day!

Australia Day 6

Our sixth day in Australia was a free day. We got to spend it however we wanted to spend it. David had not been to Chinatown, so that is where we headed. We spent the day shopping in Chinatown for souvenirs and The Rocks area for authentic Australian Uggs and opals.
