This year, David and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. Since we didn't have a big celebration for our 10th anniversary (we were saving for our trip to get Amelia), we decided to take a trip to Europe. Our friends, Micah, Ali, and Zeke are living in Paris for a year, and we decided to visit them on our trip. Our first stop was Amsterdam.
Amelia LOVED wheeling her suitcase through the airport. |
Passports and Amelia were officially stamped when we arrived in Amsterdam. |
Amelia declared, "I like them all!" when asked what type of chocolate she wanted. |
Anne Frank House |
Amelia found Marshmallow's sisters in Amsterdam! |
Pomme Frites with mayonnaise! |
Taking the Canal Bus |
Amelia enjoyed running around this park behind our hotel. It is kind of like a smaller version of Central Park. |
Yummy pancakes! |
A nightly stroll through the streets of Amsterdam... |
turned into a much needed nap for a sleepy girl with jet lag! |
Amelia's favorite part of visiting Amsterdam was being able to sleep in this little bed. |
After spending three nights in Amsterdam, we took a couple of trains to Brugges, Belgium.
