Australia Day 4

Our fourth day in Australia was spent with David getting fitted for his tux with the groomsmen, and Amelia and I spending the day together. Amelia and I decided to venture out to Chinatown and Paddy's Market. This place took me straight back to CHINA! It was amazing! Amelia and I ate a wonderful lunch of yakisoba noodles and enjoyed the day shopping. We even found her Chinese New Year dress!

After a fun day of shopping, Amelia and I met everyone at the Sydney Opera House for appetizers and drinks. We were hoping for dinner, but they were extremely crowded! The view was amazing though! We left our friends and went to eat at an Italian restaurant, where jet-lagged Amelia fell asleep in my arms. It is rare that it happens, so we took a picture of it!

Australia Day 3

A harbor cruise was on the agenda for our next day in Australia. Therese's mom was gracious enough to invite us on this three hour tour that included tea and biscuits. The views were breathtaking! We were able to see the Sydney Opera House and Harbor Bridge up close. The homes along the water were amazing and very expensive! The tour guide on the cruise was very informative, and she really gave us a good history of Sydney.

After our cruise, we went to an outstanding restaurant for dim sum. The food was incredible! Amelia ate so much that she told me her tummy hurt, but she still wanted to eat just one more! The dumplings actually have soup inside of them. Delicious!

After a full meal, we traveled outside of Sydney to Therese's Uncle Buddy's house where he hosted a wonderful evening with authentic Filipino cuisine. On the way to his house, a GIGANTIC walking stick landed on the car. It rode with us the entire hour drive. It crawled all over the car and completely freaked us out! It looked like an alien!
